Welcome to website of B.R.N.O. - project on eclipsing binary observing.

Our members are variable star observers and variable star friends. The chief observing program since 1960 pertained to eclipsing binaries, especially the minima timing datermining. The most extensive is visual observing, but in last few years, there is a lot of CCD observers in our section. The minima timings and authentic articles are emited in Contributions of The Nicholas Copernicus Observatory And Planetarium in Brno and Perseus, the sectional bulletin. The Contributions are writen in English. Some results of our members are publish in well-known Information Bulletin on Variable Stars (IBVS).
Since 1996, other types of variables (pulsating, cataclysm, symbiotic, etc.) have been observing with the MEDUZA group.
