 Three new EW stars (HMB01 = USNO A2 0900 02059141 = USNO B1.0 0950-0071306, HMB02 = USNO A2 0900 02064661 = USNO B1.0 0950-0071548 and HMB03 = USNO A2 0900 02064201 = USNO B1.0 0948-0071066) have been identified in the field of the RR Lyrae type variable NSV2724 (GSC0125-0449) in Orion. Full light curves for two of the stars are presented. The third stars light curve is not yet fully covered. For HMB01 a period P = 0.6032 +/- 0.0015 [d] with the epoch E0 = JD 2454071.7676 and a variation of Dm = 0.7 mag. has been found. For HMB02 a period P = 0.27872 +/- 0.00025 [d] with the epoch E0 = JD 2454071.8727 and a variation of Dm = 0.4 mag. has been found. And finally for HMB03 a period P = 0.33262 +/- 0.00058 [d] with the epoch E0 = JD 2454080.7679 and a variation of approximately Dm = 0.4 mag. has been found.

Dear colleague,

in your paper you give the light elements for maxima of the star HMB01 but the initial epoch from these elements corresponds almost exactly to the value of the first minimum time in the list of minima of this star. What light elements were used for calculation of phases displayed in Figure 2?

You also give the light elements for maxima of the star HMB02 but are you sure that they are correct? Using these elements, e.g. the phase of the first minimum time in your list of minima of this star should be 0.395 which is impossible in a W UMa-type binary. It seems that the value of 2454071.7627 corresponds neither to a maximum nor a minimum of light. The apparent flat minimum at phase 0.4 in Figure 4 is not caused by distortion of the light curve by surface spots but it is simply a sign of the presence of total eclipses in this binary.

You also give the light elements for maxima of the star HMB03 but are they correct? Using these elements, the phase of the first minimum time in your list of minima of this star should be 0.163 which is impossible in a W UMa-type binary. It seems that the value of 2454080.71371 corresponds neither to a maximum nor a minimum of light.

In Figures 2, 4 and 6 there should be "delta Mag" not "Mag" in the description of the vertical axes.

May I have a question about the time values given in Julian Dates in your paper? Are they geocentric or heliocentric? There is no indication of it.
