Variable Star and Exoplanet Section of the Czech Astronomical Society

The Section was founded in 1924 (as the Variable Star Section of the CAS). Since then it has coordinated research and observation of variable stars (and, in recent years, exoplanets) in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It brings together advanced amateur and professional astronomers in this fascinating field of stellar astrophysics.
